Forcefield set about making a back protector that absorbed less than 4 Kilonewtons of transmitted force, the figure identified by Dr Woods as a minimum requirement when protecting the back. This figure is achieved in horse riders body protectors but no one has ever produced a motorcycle back protector to this level legitimately until now. Forcefield Body Armour is not a mainstream brand, it pushes boundaries across its whole range.
